About Scoop Community

The Aim of the Scoop Community project is to facilitate communication between the Community Sector and those individuals or corporations who wish to assist and get involved in helping out the Community Sector.

Phase 1

The first phase of the redevelopment of Scoop Community is now complete. This involved a rework of the technologies that underpin thesite and allows for users to Login using a unique username and passport and edit and maintain their own information.

Phase 2

The second phase of the project involves the completion of the Needs Database. This will allow registered organisations to post needs that are pertinent to their organisations and then allow people who can help fulfil these needs to respond and help out.

Phase 3

The goal of the third phase of the Scoop Community site redevelopment is to populate the site with a minimum of 1000 community organisation listings to make it the most comprehensive guide to Community Organisations in Western Australia

Phase 4

The final phase of the Scoop Community project is to promote the site to the key decision makers in the private and corporate community sector so that are aware of what it offers and can assist in helping it become positioned as the pre-eminent community website in Western Australia.
