Drug ARM WA is an interdenominational Christian organisation, working as a professional agency in the drug and alcohol arena. We provide: An Awareness about the realities of drug abuse through information and education. A number of Rehabilitation and treatment opportunities. Support to clients to Manage their stages of progression with treatment and establishing a drug free lifestyle.
Street Vans - street outreach program is a mobile referral centre and access to other services. Street Van goes out on weekends to provide support to street present ’at risk’ youth in different locations in Perth Metropolitan area as well as Regional Centres. School Leavers Project also available in Nov/Dec of each year for youth celebrating end of school.
Youth Options Program - workshop based program to assist young people who are truanting or finding it difficult to cope at home, school or have offending behaviours. It aims to provide self esteem and motivation in a practical manner.
Moorditj House - a supervised bail house for young people (12-18 years) who require accommodation and support. Residents are engaged in the Youth Options Program, offered counselling and referrals, and encouraged to re-engage with families and their communities.
Time Out Centre - a supervised safe place where intoxicated youth (12-18 years) can sober up in a safe environment.
Counselling - face to face and telephone counselling available during working hours.
School Leavers and Events - Mobile Street Teams and stationary “Recovery” tents provide information about staying safe, someone to talk to, non-alcoholic drinks, basic first aid, access to ambulance services and crisis counseling, and a secure environment for those who have had too much to be looked after and rest.
Education - programs at primary and high Schools, TAFE Colleges, Universities and community groups through workshops and presentations.
Rosella House - a 13 week residential rehabilitation centre for those who wish to rebuild their lives. The centre is situated in Geraldton.
Transitional Houses - men and women who graduate from Rosella House to re-establish confidence in independent living.
Opportunity Shops - provide good quality second hand goods, help people in need and raise the awareness and much needed funds for DrugARM WA Inc.
